A Lewisham police dog has been praised for finding a drugs stash in her last shift before retiring.

PD Lexi found the quantity of drugs discarded in a garden in Lee.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply as a result - including one wanted person.

PD Lexi was assisted by Taskforce officers.

Lewisham police tweeted: "Early morning arrests this morning by TSG U44 in #Lee @MPSLewisham assisted by our Taskforce colleagues.

"PD Lexi successfully located this quantity of drugs discarded in a garden all on her final shift before retirement.

"3x PWITS arrests and a wanted person off the street ^4454U."
