A teenage boy has been threatened with a knife after an argument on a bus in Sidcup.

Police were called to an underpass in Seveoaks Way shortly before 3pm yesterday (February 9).

A teenage boy had reportedly been threatened with a knife following an altercation on a bus a short time earlier.

The suspect left the scene before officers arrived.

There were no reports of injuries.

Enquires are ongoing to trace the suspect.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 2.55pm on Wednesday, February 9, to reports that a teenage boy had been threatened with a knife in an underpass in Sevenoaks Way, Sidcup.

“Officers attended and it was reported that the boy was threatened following an altercation that had occurred onboard a bus a short time earlier.

“No injuries were reported.

“The suspect had left the area before officers arrived.

“Enquiries are ongoing to trace them. Any witnesses who could help police are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 4259/09Feb.”
