A Sydenham dealer who was caught with more than 90 wraps of crack and heroin hidden in his clothing has been jailed.

Rahim Saeed, 54, of Dartmouth Road, was sentenced to two years four months’ imprisonment on February 2 at Maidstone Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to possessing the drugs with intent to supply.

Officers stopped a hire car on Waldeck Road, Dartford, on October 18, 2021, suspecting the driver, Saeed, was involved in dealing.

He was detained for a search, which led to the seizure of a burner phone and £220 in cash.

After he was taken to a police station for a further search, Saeed admitted to having drugs hidden in his clothing.

Officers seized 91 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, also recovering a large lump of crack cocaine which could have been divided into a further 110 wraps.

Investigating officer, PC Michael Williams, said: "Another dealer who travelled into Kent with class A drugs is starting a prison sentence.

"Our officers are alert for county line suppliers who think they can remain anonymous using mobile phones to bring cocaine and heroin into our towns.

"Our message to other criminals who seek to follow in his footsteps is clear; it’s only a matter of time before you come to our attention after which you will be swiftly brought to justice."
