A new B&M store that has opened up has brought more than 50 jobs to the local community.
The new discount retailer opened up at Colindale Retail Park last Friday (February 4), and the store manager has said that it has kicked off with a “fantastic” start.
It replaced the former Go Outdoors store and offers a variety of discounted branded groceries, homeware, DIY essentials and other bargain products.
Staff at the new store nominated Colindale Foodbank as the local charity to take centre stage during the opening weekend
The store manager, said: “It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors, the feedback so far has been fantastic.”
“A big thank you to the team at Colindale Foodbank who helped us open the store, we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do in supporting the local people.”
