A woman has allegedly been raped at a premises in south Norwood.
Police received the allegation yesterday (February 4) that she was raped by a man at premises in Addison Road.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in police custody while detectives from the Met’s South area BCU investigate.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “On Friday, 4 February, police received an allegation that a female had been raped by a man at premises in Addison Road, South Norwood.
"Detectives from the Met’s South Area BCU are investigating.
"A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
"He remains in police custody.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
