A pub in Welling is set to reopen its doors after the redevelopment of the venue.

The new operators of the Guy Earl of Warwick, Bonnie and Ray, confirmed it will be reopening on Thursday, February 24 at 11am.

The owners have created a Facebook event to keep revellers updated with the opening day.

Pub franchise Greene King previously confirmed the purchase of the property in early November 2021.

Greene King then found new operators for the venue while announcing plans to restore the pub for early 2022.

Bonnie and Ray previously told the News Shopper that refurbishment plans were set to start as of January 2022, and they looked to reopen the venue in February.

The pub will be one of three other pubs owned by Greene King in Welling.

The other two are the Nags Head in Welling High Street and the We-Anchor-In-Hope in Bellegrove Road.

The Guy Earl of Warwick previously closed its doors during the coronavirus pandemic.

It is located on Park View Road next to Welling football stadium.
