Food from several cultures!

I live in the heart of London and go to school with a diverse group of students and teachers. There is one thing that binds many of us together and that is…… food! Teachers at Lister Community school share their favourite cuisines.

Mr Chowdhury, Pastoral Manager:

What type of food do you eat in your culture?

I eat many Asian dishes such as rice, curry, and Biryani are available.

Is your cuisine influenced by your culture?

Yes, Asian cuisine, because rice and curry have been a part of my life "all my life."

However, as I grew older, I became dissatisfied with rice and curries.

What do you believe is the best sort of food?

All of the cuisines are delicious, but my favourites are Italian dishes such as spaghetti and Japanese dishes such as sushi.

What kind of cuisine would you suggest to others?

(Food makes him happy) I like it when people eat.

I want my cuisine to provide joy to everyone. "My mother's cooking" is something I would recommend.
