A 61-year-old man has been banned from driving after being caught behind the wheel while more than twice over the legal alcohol limit.
Gary Foxton, aged 61, of Mayfield Road, Dartford, was sentenced on 11 January 2022 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Maidstone, on December 5 2021.
When stopped he gave a reading of 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He was disqualified from driving for a total of 18 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.
