A Ford Fiesta driver from Erith has been fined more than £300 after exceeding a 70mph speed limit on a dual carriageway.
Andrew Butt admitted to speeding on the A23 in Sussex on June 2 last year.
The 54-year-old, of Colombus Square, was slapped with a £374 fine for the offence during a hearing at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on January 13.
This includes a £250 fine, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £90 which must be paid by February 10.
The defendant was also given three points on his driving license.
