A teenager has admitted touching himself in public and sexually assaulting a woman in South Woodford.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, touched the victim without consent in Granville Road on October 19 last year.

The following day in the same road he exposed and fondled himself.

He admitted both offences in early December and following the latest hearing on January 6 the case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be made.

The teenager, who lives in east London, was granted conditional bail that prohibits him from being in public unless accompanied by an adult.

He also must be taken to and from his education setting by a care worker and must live and sleep each night at his home address.

The next hearing is due to be in Stratford Magistrates' Court on January 20.
