With the rising cases of COVID-19, new variants being brought upon and immense hospital admissions, many are praying for this country’s health, social and economic factors that have been had targeted. Schools have started to advise students to follow the legal obligations given by the government which state that masks should be worn in classes and when walking around in communal areas. Yet, masks alone aren’t doing enough to prevent the transmission of this deadly disease as many students and teacher absents have affected their teaching, learning and attendance. Would a two-week circuit breaker help slow the transmission and allow students to have a chance at doing their exams in better conditions?
