Arsenal Football Club are set to wear an all-white kit for the first time in the club’s history this Sunday to raise awareness over rising knife crime in the capital and the damages it has on communities. The campaign is known as “No More Red”.
Arsenal have confirmed that the kits themselves will not be sold commercially, opting to award them to people for making a positive difference in their given community. Supporting the movement are former Arsenal footballer Ian Wright, and actor Idris Elba.
This campaign follows the 30th teenage death from knife crime in the capital in 2021; a record annual high.
