Struggling on what to watch this new year? Netflix has released some eye catching series to watch this January. Here are my top 10 picks that i think you will absolutely love!

1) Cobra Kai

Karate fan or not i think you will love this series. The follow up show that's based on the movie series Karate kid is now streaming on Netflix with its fourth season that just got released on the 31st of January 2021. Middle aged Danielle LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence find themselves in a marital-arts rivalry again. This time both determined to teach their own styles of karate. 

2) Emily In Paris 

Paris la ville de l'amour. Emily a 29year old who moved from Chicago to Paris to work in a marketing firm and follow her dreams. What was meant to be a simple year abroad turned into a whole new mess when she struggles to communicate with her french colleagues. An American in a french speaking firm with a judgmental boss? Emily is in for a ride. 

3) Maid 

A heart shattering story of a young women, Alexandra, navigating motherhood, with her 2 year old daughter Maddy, while also fighting a toxic relationship. Alex is determined to get the best possible outcome for Maddy and refuses for her to live the same childhood she did.

4) Firefly Lane 

Tully and Kate childhood bestfriends who have been through hell and back together. The show takes you on their journey from teenage years to adulthood which consists of a lot of drama, hurt , jealousy and most importantly adventure. 

5) Dead To Me

Again another iconic friendship however this one has a dark twist. Jen and Judy who meet under unusual circumstances are suddenly bonded for life. What is friendship without secrets? 

6) Dare Me 

Taking a throwback to 2019 when this thrilling series was released. This series dives into the life of a cheer team particularly two girls Beth and Addy who clash with Collect French. Female drama, jealousy, loyalty and power consumes the small midwestern town.

With the latest season been released in October 2021. You is about a bookstore manager in New York called Joe Goldberg who meets an inspiring writer Guinevere Beck and becomes obsessed with her. His obsession leads him onto a dark path and consumes him to make the wrong choices. 

8) Stay Close

When another person goes missing on the anniversary of Stewart's disappearance, Broome takes on the case. Broomes investigation opens up old wounds, stir up past memories and causes the truth to be played with. 

9) Selling Sunset 

Not the ideal January series to be watching but perfect to get you into the summer mood and provide the best entertainment. Selling Sunset is an American reality tv show which revolves around the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in LA, and follows a group of agents as they navigate their personal and professional lives. 

10) Fate: The winx Saga

Imagine a school full of fairies learning to master their powers in the otherworld. This coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the otherworld where they must learn to master their supernatural abilities while navigating love, rivalries and the monsters that threaten their existence. Power, passion and potential are what these fairies are fighting for.
