A police officer pulled a Rambo knife from the trouser leg of a young man outside Woolwich Arsenal station, just seconds after he asked “what have I done wrong?”.

Footage of the incident, which took place on November 30, shows two British Transport Police officers searching the individual, who can be heard protesting his innocence.

To the shock of onlookers, the officer discovers a large blade soon after. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the station shortly before 6pm on November 30, following reports of an attempted robbery.

“Four young men were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and following a search, one was further arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

“They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.”
