The Winter Fair at Croydon High is exciting for all. The weeks leading up to the fair cause the school halls to buzz with anticipation. From the stalls to the games to the big raffle, the Winter Fair at Croydon High is an event that shouldn't be missed.

The Winter Fair started almost 20 years ago by the PTA at Croydon High .  However, because of Covid the Winter Fair in 2020 was cancelled, leaving many people inside and outside the school disappointed.

This year the Winter Fair was in full swing. On the 27th of November the hall at CHS was packed with people. The hall itself was decorated with trees and lights , which oozed Christmas.

The food featured handmade cakes, samosas, snow cones and more! The stalls where vendors sold many items, which made perfect presents.. The highlight of the fair were the raffles. The prizes varied. An Ipad, sweets and other gifts waited to be won.

“The best part for me was Santa’s grotto,” said Tallulah, age 14. “I found it nostalgic to go back there.”. Izzy, also aged 14 said "I like the younger years' singing and the snow cones!".

So, for next year, clear out your calendars and come to the Winter Fair.
