Police are appealing for attendees of a large party in Deptford to come forward after an 18-year-old was stabbed on Saturday night.

Officers were called to Alpha Road at around 11.50pm on November 27, attending alongside ambulance services, where they found the victim.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a non-life-threatening condition.

Detectives believe that the man had been at a party in the area prior before being attacked.

This party was attended by a large number of people and officers are keen to speak to any attendees who may have witnessed anything suspicious.

Detective Constable Lottie Williams, leading the investigation, said: “It is really important that we speak to anyone who attended the same party as the victim to fully understand the sequence of events that let up to this incident.
