THE London Tube strike is underway causing problems for many commuters this morning.

A 24-hour strike started as of 4.30am on Night Tube lines, including Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria.

The dispute is over night shift drivers who are required to work as the Night Tube service is introduced.

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union said the new shifts will affect work-life balance of staff.

Transport for London (TFL) said that the changes have been agreed by both unions and would result in drives working approximately four night shifts a year.

The Night Tube was previously suspended in March 2020 during the pandemic.

TFL has warned of “severe disruption” and urge commuters to plan ahead of their travel.
