A man from Greenwich has been fined after assaulting a paramedic.

Josh Love admitted to beating the emergency worker in Green Lane in Chislehurst on October 3 this year.

The 20-year-old was fined £580 for the offence at a hearing at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on November 15.

Love, of Beaconsfield Close in Greenwich, must also carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and comply with any instructions given by a “responsible officer” as a rehabilitation activity requirement.

This may include attending appointments or participating in activities for up to a maximum of 10 days.

The fine issued includes £200 in compensation, £95 to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

He has been ordered to pay £50 per month starting on December 12.
