Popular singer and west-end star Alexandra Burke will be headlining this year's East Villages Christmas lights switch-on.
The singer will take the stage from 8.15pm to 8.55pm and will be supported by a range of artists including Luke Caret and local bands and choirs.
Taking place on Thursday, December 2 from 6pm to 9pm, London's East Village lights turn on is free for the whole family to enjoy.
To get into the festive spirit the Christmas village will have a range of entertainment and activities.
Along with on-stage performances throughout the night, there will also be fairground rides with a Ferris wheel, creative Christmas-themed workshops for children, and of course the switch-on of the lights.
Plus there will also be local vendors at the food market, including Roots, Mother Kellysw, and Ban Be.
Tickets to the event are free and everyone that attends can receive a free mince pie or glass of mulled wine.
