A 15-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in Ilford early this morning.
Police were called at 3.54am on Thursday, October 28 to reports of a fight in Harrow Road.
A man, believed to be 18, was found with stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene at 4.27am.
A 15-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He has been taken to an east London police station where he remains at this time.
A crime scene remains in place.
Police said they are keeping "an open mind concerning the motive".
The victim's next of kin have been informed and a post mortem will be scheduled in due course.
