Police have charged a person with the murder of Mauricio 'Maurice' Nascimento in Lambeth.
On Wednesday (October 20), the Metropolitan Police said that 28-year-old Arturas Ptickinas had been charged with the murder of Mauricio and would appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today.
Mauricio died of "multiple injuries" according to a "special" post-mortem examination held at Greenwich Mortuary. He was 44.
As the Wandsworth Times reported, his body was found by paramedics who called police to the scene on New Park Road around 6.55am on July 12.
Three other men were previously arrested as part of the murder investigation and have since been released with no further action.
