A man has been charged after a dispute broke out and a person was taken to hospital following a car crash in Dartford.

Police were called to St Vincent's Road in Dartford at around 7.20pm on Tuesday to reports of a distrubance.

A number of people are said to have been involved in the dispute after a car crashed into a number of parked vehicles.

Ambulance crews attended and no serious injuries were reported but the alleged driver of the car was taken to a hospital.

As part of Kent Police enquiries, Jagdish Rana was arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a specimen.

The 41-year-old, of Henderson Drive in Dartford has since been charged with the offence and released on bail to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 12.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 7.26pm on Tuesday 12 October 2021 to a report of a disturbance in St Vincent’s Road, Dartford.

"A number of people are said to have become involved in a dispute after a car was in collision with a number of parked vehicles.

"Officers attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service. No serious injuries have been reported, however the alleged driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital.

"As part of enquiries, Jagdish Rana was arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a specimen.

"The 41-year-old, of Henderson Drive, Dartford, has since been charged with the offence and released on bail to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 12 November 2021."
