The emergency food aid charity 3Food4U that provided a lifeline to many people during the pandemic is launching a new community service next week.

3MemoryCafe4U is open to anyone who would like to socialise, but particularly people with varying degrees of memory issues and those who love and care for them.

The sessions will be activity-based with singing, word games, puzzles, bingo and more with free light refreshments.

The first session takes places from 10am to midday on Wednesday, October 20 at St James’ Church Hall, Ongar CM5 9EL and then on the third Wednesday of each month.

Representatives from 3Food4U attended the harvest festival service at Holy Innocents Church, High Beach, and were delighted with the generosity of the congregation and High Beach School students. Their donations will make a difference to local families in these challenging times.
