Serious road collision left four teens injured.
Four teenagers are being treated in hospital after a car hit a tree near Ongar.
Police are investigating the crash which involved a silver Volkswagen Passat which left Ongar Road, Stondon Massey at about 12.30am on Saturday morning.
Four people in the car – two teenage boys and two teenage girls - all sustained serious injuries and are currently being treated in hospital.
The circumstances which led up to the collision are ongoing.
Essex Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything or has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to contact them.
