Your photograph in the September 16 issue of the Epping Forest Guardian of High Street, Epping in 1900, juxtaposed with a similar one taken recently, perfectly illustrates the point I was advocating in my letter of June 24, namely that additional tree planting along High Street would greatly enhance its appearance.
