A Porsche driver from Erith was disqualified from driving and fined more than £700 for speeding at 100mph on a dual carriageway.

Ross Fisher, 32, was ordered to pay £660 in fines and a further £100 in costs by Bromley Magistrates’ Court after he was recorded driving at 100mph on the A20.

The defendant, of Swanton Road in Erith, was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 56 days.

This is the maximum ban that can be issued by magistrates in this case.

The offence took place on July 23, 2020 when Fisher was recorded driving his Porsche on the A20 London bound – going 30mph over the 70mph speed limit.

At Bromley Magistrates’ Court on May 6, 2021, Fisher admitted the offence and this was taken into account when imposing his sentence.
