A road junction is due to be closed on Sunday to enable a scanner to be removed from a hospital.

A notice from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times details the closure of Rowsley Avenue NW4, between BMI Hendon Hospital and Sunny Gardens Road, from 8am on Sunday.

This is to allow a crane to remove an MRI scanner from the hospital.

During this closure, motorists will be diverted via Rowsley Avenue, Meadow Drive, Sunny Gardens Road and vice versa.

Meanwhile, parts of Cricklewood Lane NW2 are due to be closed for four days from Monday, September 27 for roadworks.

The road is due to be shut between its junctions with Cricklewood Broadway and Claremont Road, at its junction with Cricklewood Lane and at its junction with A41 Hendon Way.

However, access for residents and businesses will be maintained “as far as practicable” between its junctions with A41 Hendon Way and Claremont Road.

The installation of a new electricity supply means Herongate HA8 is set to be closed to vehicles at its junction with Station Road for three days from September 27.

Also on September 27 but only for that day, Princes Park Avenue NW11 is due to be shut at its junction with Leeside Crescent for manhole inspections.
