Police are investigating the reported rape of a 17-year-old girl in Blackheath on Wednesday evening.
The victim reported being assaulted by an unknown man in the vicinity of Collins Street, off Blackheath Village, on September 8.
She is being supported by specially trained officers.
No arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing, with residents reporting a cordon in place on Thursday.
