THERE are long delays between London and Brighton as engineers investigate a potential landslip.
An alarm reporting a possible landslip at Balcombe means there are delays to services.
Staff said the landslip is currently being investigated.
Trains are being held within stations until it is deemed safe to run on these lines.
Writing on Twitter, a Southern Rail spokesman said: "Response teams have now arrived on site (near Balcombe tunnel) to inspect a possible landslip in the area.

From this update, we hope to have a better understanding on service - lines will either remain blocked, or we will be able to run at a reduced speed.
