Essex police are appealing for witnesses to or dashcam footage of a collision that occurred in Waltham Abbey on Wednesday 1 September.
At around 8:50pm a black Fourtwo Smartcar and a white Focus were in collision at North Street.
Essex Police state: "We’d like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision, or the cars shortly before it happened.
Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage are asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident 1122 of 1 September."
