ALMOST 30,000 revellers flocked to two new music festivals.
The Eastern Electrics and Maiden Voyage festivals were held at the Lee Valley Showground in Waltham Abbey on Saturday 28 and 29 August.
There were plenty of impressive performers and stars including the likes of Jamie Jones, Willow, Zip and many more over the two events.
An event spokesman said: "We’re very pleased with our first event on this site. Lots of learnings, and lots of amazing memories made from the weekend. The hard work starts now to improve every aspect for 2022."
Essex Police thanked attendees and organisations that helped keep the events safe and well managed.
Event organiser Columbo Star – which was responsible for safety and security on site - worked closely with Epping Forest District Council, Essex Police, Hertfordshire Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service to ensure the event was safe.
Six people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs on Saturday and one person was arrested on suspicion of assault on Sunday.
