The managing director of a home care company says he is "absolutely thrilled" to achieve an 'Outstanding' inspection rating.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspected Right at Home Enfield in May - and have delivered a glowing report of the company.
The independent regulator for health and social care said the people currently using the Right at Home service benefitted from an "outstanding service that met their needs, understood people as individuals and held values that placed people at the heart of their care".
This was the first time Right at Home Enfield, which was established in December 2018 had been fully inspected, and it is also the first homecare agency in Enfield to be given the highest rating on the first inspection.
According to the CQC report, one of the key strengths of the service was the care being tailored to individual needs, which is very personalised and focussed on outcomes rather than tasks.
The report added: "The service recognised COVID-19 meant people may experience increased isolation and loneliness.
"Staff went above and beyond to help people prevent this, ensuring special events were celebrated, encouraging, and supporting people to take part in activities they had previously enjoyed and enabling people to access the local community."
The management at Right at Home was described by the CQC as "exceptional".
Krish Nair, managing director of Right at Home Enfield, said: "I’m absolutely thrilled with our CQC inspection report, especially when getting an outstanding on the first inspection is a rare accomplishment in the healthcare industry and very hard to achieve.
"This is a great testament to the work we do. We are passionate about developing care and support that meets the individual needs of our clients and I’m delighted that this has been highlighted within this inspection.
"Our caregivers are our most important asset and I am grateful for all of their efforts in making a difference to the lives of our clients."
Mr Nair added: "We are now looking to grow our team to 50 caregivers, to support Enfield residents who need our services, be this privately, through Enfield Council or the NHS pathways."
