Bensons for Beds is opening a new store in Colindale.
The bed and mattress retailer has taken a lease at Unit 4, Colindale Retail Park, in The Hyde, Edgware Road, and will open on Friday, August 27, at 9am.
It has 8,300 square feet of space on the ground floor and mezzanine and will employ six colleagues.
The move into the new store is part of the transformation of Bensons following a restructuring deal in 2020.
To mark the opening, Bensons will be rolling out its purple carpet to welcome customers who will get an additional 10 per cent off items bought over the opening bank holiday weekend.
The new concept store has been designed to showcase the full range of beds and mattresses on offer.
Bensons’ managing director for retail, Alan Williams, said: “The new store is in a great location and will allow us to display our best ranges more effectively and make sure that customers make the right choice to help them sleep well and wake up in a good place.”
The store will be run by manager Mo Uddin, who has been with the business for three years at stores including Fulham and Dartford.
