Motorists may encounter some disruption due to the temporary closure of two roads in the Barnet area, starting from Friday.
Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times details the closures that will affect Wise Lane and Downhurst Avenue in NW7.
Wise Lane, outside No. 53, is due to be shut for six days from Friday to allow a new water connection to be installed.
The alternative route will be via Milespit Hill, High Street, The Ridgeway, Hammers Lane and vice versa.
The installation of a new sewer connection means Downhurst Avenue, at its junction with Ashbourne Grove, is set to be closed to vehicles for two weeks from Tuesday.
