A children’s play area in Swanscombe was closed after vandals poured black paint down a slide and over other equipment.
The damage to facilities in Broomfield Park was discovered this morning (August 11) by council workers.
Vandals left a black pool at the bottom of the slide and flicked paint over other items.
The area has been closed temporarily and the damage reported to police.
Alternative play areas can be located at Swanscombe Heritage Park, Craylands Lane, or Swanscombe Park, on Park Road.
