There’s nothing like a supercar to inspire children to focus on their studies.

Pupils at Cooks Spinney Primary Academy, in Harlow, have been learning about car design and building their own models.

As part of their work, they were visited by a Lamborghini.

Headteacher Neil Stirrat said: “To further inspire and enthuse the children in their car designs, the school were incredibly lucky to be able to welcome a very special visit of a real Lamborghini Huracan, kindly supplied for the day by Malborough Highways.

"Chris Wood, who brought the car to the school, showed endless enthusiasm and patience in answering all the children’s questions and teaching them all about this super car.

“The children had an incredible day. Each class got to spend time learning about this supercar and inspecting it, as well as listening to its roaring engine which caused squeals of delight and amazement.

“There was a constant stream of smiles and excitement from the children.”

A Lamborghini Huracan can hit top speeds of 200 mph. It can go from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds and 0-100 within nine seconds. The car would set back a potential owner upwards of £160,000.
