Councillors will decide whether to green light plans to build 35 new homes in Chigwell.
A planning application has been submitted to build the homes near the junction of the High Road replacing the current car dealership and maintenance garage.
The site is directly adjacent to the new development known as ‘The Cube’.
The proposal has been recommended for approval by council officers after it was revised following first submission,
altering the design and reducing the number of units from 40.
Plans detail an ‘L’ shaped four story main building fronting onto the High Road and Brook Mews.

Twenty-nine car parking spaces will be provided along with cycle parking for all flats.
Four commercial units are proposed at ground floor fronting onto the High Road.
Seventeen objections to the proposal were logged, raising issues with the height, character, increase in traffic, and current parking issues in the area as problems.
Chigwell Parish Council had no objections to the plans.
