Epping Town Show it set to go ahead tomorrow – with a Spitfire fighter plane set to make an appearance.

Epping Town Council still intends to hold the Epping Town Show at the Stonards Hill recreation ground on Sunday (noon until 5pm) but there will be some changes to the layout because of the soft ground and the forecast weather.

A flypast from an RAF Spitfire is expected over the show at about 2.20pm.

There will be no public parking on the recreation ground, except for disabled attendees.

The other main change is that the funfair will have children’s rides only on the day (noon to 5pm) only, and not today (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday).

There will be a few minor changes to the layout of some of the stalls, and there will be no donkey rides as previously advertised.

Covid-19 precautions will be in place and anyone attending is asked to take their own sanitiser, face covering and deck chairs.
