A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash which left a car overturned, waking an Orpington street last night.
Police were called to Thorndon Road, St Paul’s Cray, shortly before midnight (June 29) after a collision involving two cars.
An ambulance crew attended along with fire services, treating a man at the scene who was taken to hospital.
One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.
Residents reported hearing a loud bang as they prepared for bed, observing a black car flipped over.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 11.57pm yesterday (29 June) to reports of a road traffic collision on Mickleham Road, Orpington.
"We sent an ambulance crew, who treated a man at the scene and took him to a hospital."
