AN agreement between the Department of Education and developers Countryside will enable a new 1,200-pupil secondary school in Acton, Ark Soane Academy, alongside 116 homes.
The homes will be located close to The Woodlands Park and Acton High Street and will be powered by a ground source heat pump.
Full planning permission is in place and Ark Soane Academy is due to open in September 2021.
The secondary school will occupy the first three floors of the six- to 12-storey building, with 113 flats above.
