Two more people have been arrested as police continue their investigation into the fatal stabbing of 24-year-old Abdirizak Hassan in Putney.

On Friday (May 14) the Metropolitan Police announced that two more people, both teenagers, had been arrested in the murder investigation.

The first was a 15-year-old boy who was arrested on Thursday, May 13, on suspicion of murder.

A day later on Friday a 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of murder.

Both remain in custody at present.

Previously, on May 8, a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in late May.

As the Wandsworth Times reported previously, paramedics and police were called to a home on Dowdeswell Close, SW15, around 11.05am on Thursday, May 6.

There they found Abdirizak suffering stab injuries and he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

His family are now being support by "specialist officers" from the Met.

A post-mortem examination confirmed that he had died of a stab wound.

Meanwhile, the police murder investigation continues.
