Last weekend, one of the busiest roads in Wandsworth was pedestrianised to allow businesses to operate outdoors with social distancing. 

People flocked to the outside areas of Northcote Road on Saturday (April 17) to enjoy highs of 13 degrees. 

Twickenham

Pubs were open again on the riverbanks of the Thames as families and friends sat on tables in the sun. 

Wimbledon

Non-essential shops were also given the green light to open again this weekend - to the delight of many who have been online shopping for months.

High street stores and boutiques sold to eager customers on a shopping spree in Wimbledon Village this weekend.

Greenwich

Though many new venues opened this week groups of people could still be found sitting in parks and commons across London.

People took the chance to have picnics in Greenwich Park in the lead up to Summer.
