A police pursuit through the Biggin Hill area ended in a suspect's arrest after their car collided heavily with a residential wall.
And a witness at the scene caught the incident unfolding in excellent clarity, showing police vehicles surrounding the crash site, and the damage left behind.
Police said they were in pursuit of a vehicle at around 2:35am on Friday, April 16 in the Biggin Hill area of Bromley.
During the chase, the suspect's vehicle collided with a wall in Sunningvale Avenue, and one male was arrested for failing to stop for police, and for dangerous driving.
Met Police added that he was taken to hospital as a precaution prior to going into police custody.
One witness said they were woken up to the sound of police sirens at 3am and looked out their window to find numerous police cars surrounding a car which was "firmly wedged into a neighbour's driveway wall."
They said they believed the vehicle was being chased in one direction and their route was blocked off by more police cars in the opposite direction, prompting the crash.
The car was badly damaged, but no ambulance was called.
