A local McDonald’s franchisee is providing 120 hours of free fun Football sessions for local children in Enfield.

John Loizou is offering four sessions at Powerleague Barnet in April that he says will get children between the ages of five and 11 playing football again.

The offer will give 120 under 11s in Enfield the opportunity to learn from top FA coaches.

Two Fun Football sessions have already taken place but there are still spaces available at sessions on Sunday 18th and 25th April from 12:30-1:30pm.

McDonald’s and its franchisees are providing hundreds of free football sessions, delivered by a team of fully qualified coaches at over 600 locations across the UK during 2021.

Enfield McDonald’s franchisee John Loizou said: “The last year has been difficult for everyone, but not least our children who have missed out on a year of being care-free and playing with their friends. I sponsor Ryan FC and Ilford Colts and I know first-hand just how important the return of grassroots football is for returning to normality.

“Fun Football is all about enjoying the sport in a fun, safe and pressure-free environment. I’m incredibly proud to work with the FA alongside other franchisees and the wider McDonald’s business to put on so many free football sessions this year. Getting kids active again has never been more important and our football programme is a resource that ensures every child can have access to the nation’s favourite game.”
