SIX fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a blaze at a bungalow at Bath Road, Harlington this morning (14).
The entire roof was destroyed and a cordon put in place as a precaution while crews removed a gas cylinder and cooled it.
They are expected to remain on scene throughout the afternoon.
The brigade was called at 11.17am and the fire was under control by 1.26pm. Crews from Heathrow, Feltham and Surrey attended.
The cause is being investigated.
