By-election hopeful: Steve Garelick
HILLINGDON Labour have selected former taxi driver Steve Garelick as their candidate for the Charville ward by-election on May 6, the same day as the Mayor of London and Greater London Assembly elections.
The vacancy arose last year after the death of long-serving Cllr Neil Fyfe (Conservative).
Mr Garelick now works as an organiser for the GMB trade union. He stood in 2018 for a seat in Charville.
