A man has been taken to hosptial with serious injuries following a crash which shut a busy road.
Emergency services are currently working at the A41 in Edgware by Edgwarebury Lane following the incident which occurred this afternoon (March 7).
There are multiple police cars at the scene, while several ambulance crews had attended earlier.
Met Police says it was called at 4.09pm following reports of a road traffic collision.
Officers attended, as did the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance.

One man sustained serious injuries and has been transported to a west London hospital, police said.
A number of roads have been closed to allow emergency services to work at the scene.
Some of these closures may need to remain in place while an investigation is carried out, police said.
The A41 is currently closed to motorists heading northbound between Broadfields Avenue Edgwarebury Lane.
Motorists travelling down the A41 towards the incident are being diverted onto Broadfields Avenue.
