Children at one Bexleyheath school are set for a warm welcome when they return next week - as they are set to be greeted by hundreds of teddy bears.
Primary and secondary schools across the country are due to return next Monday, March 8, as the first step in the government's roadmap for ending lockdown.
But the PTA of Brampton Primary Academy went the extra mile to ensure a difficult return for many pupils would be made a little easier.
The group, Friends of Brampton, donated 380 teddies for children returning on Monday.
The idea behind them is to help encourage any children who are anxious or nervous about returning to school.
Headteacher Ms Winter-Nolan has also recorded a video talking to them in assembly, which has been sent out to parents.
