Police probing a series of assaults on buses have made an arrest.
Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command appealed for help to trace a person they wanted to speak to about three incidents across Barnet.
The first incident happened on a Route 83 bus on November 11, with a second on the same day at a supermarket in Coppetts Centre, off the A406 near Friern Barnet.
A third incident happened on board a 221 bus in Edgware the following day.
On Tuesday February 23, police say a 30-year-old man from Barnet was arrested on suspicion of four assaults, including one that had come to light following the public appeal.
He was taken to a north London police station and later released under investigation.
