A teenage girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a train.
British Transport Police (BTP) says it was called to Burnt Oak station at 7.21pm last night (February 22) following reports of a person on the tracks.
While officers were on scene responding to the incident, a 17-year-old girl was injured by a train, police said.
Paramedics attended and she was taken to hospital where she is in a stable condition with a non-life threatening leg injury.
The incident caused there to be no service for some time during the evening between Edgware and Golders Green.
BTP says the incident will be referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct and BTP’s Professional Standards Department for assessment.
